  • Something I learned today....

A person can bear more pain than they think they can when they put their mind to it.

I had one of my wisdom teeth pulled. The dentist was very kind and I did get half of my mouth numbed but it still was painful. He was surprised at my high pain tollerance. I decided to do it here in India because of the cheaper price. It cost 1500 rupees (about $30). I could have gone to one who would have charged 5000 rupees but I thought they'd probably do basically the same thing. So now I'm eating ice cream to my heart's content! Too bad it has to be right before I leave when I want to enjoy Indian food for the last few days. Tonight they had pizza for supper (Indian pizza) and it smelled soooo good! At one time I thought it was horrible tasting but now I've come to like it.

On Friday we had a special day with the children from the three Good Life Schools. November 14th is Nehru's birthday (he was the first president of India) and since he liked children a lot they decided to make Children's Day on his birthday. We all gathered at the Stone Quarry school and had a great time together.

I had a wonderful time in in Vijayawada with the Sharon team again! For pics you can go to AnthonyYoder'sWeb Album. It was neat to enjoy India with Dennis again. It's funny to think back to a year ago when we had just met. God must have a sense of humor when he decides to bring two people together!

Well, I'm going to sign off before I lose connection. This internet is kinda touchy.

Hope to see a bunch of you when I get home.
